Are you for protecting the woman or the unborn if it comes down to it? If the woman would die but the unborn could be saved, who would you choose?
If you had paid attention, you'd know that I've said many times that most pro-lifers including myself , favor allowing abortion if the life of the woman is truly in imminent danger.

Whats your definition of imminent? does the woman's mental health fall into this classification? or does that not concern you. WE all know how most pro-lifers feel about rape victims and the mental health status of the woman. To them it means jack.
No because as we have established time and time again, only those of us born truely have rights. I am sorry if you dont like that statement, but that is where we currently stand.
we are not advocating that the unborn have more rights than the mother. we are advocating that their rights are equal. if america was killing off 4,000 women ever day so their kids could live the way they wanted, the pro-life movement would fight just as much to end that mass slaughter as well.
everyone has the right to live how they want, but they can't kill others in order to do so. when we say someone can't shoot someone in order to get money to buy a house, it's not to say he has doesn't have a right to buy a house or that he has fewer rights his victim; we're saying that someone's right to life is of higher value than someone else's right to buy a house.
this idea also applies to abortion. the abortion industry's own data shows that at least 93% of abortions are done for non-health issue reasons on a totally healthy baby and a totally healthy woman who just doesn't want a baby, which shows that the abortion conflict is between the unborn's right to life and a woman's wanting to take responsibility for her actions.
another 6% are performed due to deformities or disabilities of the unborn baby, which makes over 98% of abortions done solely out of convenience.
You know how many newborns would survive being born that early? I will bet less than 20%.
Whats really funny is no one has given a solid argument or point on how it is not the womans BODY to do what she wants. It is a law and will stay that way. Trust me, it will never change, people may say that they are against abortion but when it comes down to telling someone what to do with their body only a few people have the stupidity to even try.
You cannot control what I do with my body as I cannot control what you do with your body. You can say there is a law her and a law there...blah, blah, blah...but guess what the law states that it is a womans right to have an abortion. Also, to say that abortion is murder is false, murder is a title for a CRIME that our government has appointed. Abortion is not murder in any way. You can say that if a pregnant woman is killed they will also throw in the unborn, but this is rare and all the defence has to do is prove that the mother didnt want the child. Show me where someone was convicted of murdering a fetus that was up to 4 weeks old.
I really want to know how you think you have the right to tell someone else what to do with their body or life? No amount of experiance or education can allow you to control anyones life. So what gives you the right to make dicisions for anyone but yourself? YOU DONT, and that is what drives you nuts. You probably dont even have control of your own life, and you feel incontrol when you can tell someone else what to do.

first, this is to think that the law cannot tell us what we can't do with our bodies, which is untrue. we can't put certain drugs in them or sell ourselves for sex. second, this claim simply ignores the fact that the unborn are completely separate individuals from the mother. how can someone have two heartbeats, two different blood types, two sets of DNA? and, if the unborn is a male, how can a woman have a male part of her body? yes, the unborn need their mother for nutrition and safety, but that does not make them any more a part of her body than some food she swallows is a part of her body.
there was a little boy who had surgery for spina bifida before he was even born. at the end of the surgery, the baby reached out of the uterus and grabbed the doctor's finger. who grabbed the doctor's finger? certainly not the mother!

wjtwet, please stop copy and pasting the same post over and over again. The law does not stop us from doing what we want. To say that it stops us from putting drugs in our bodies and sell them for sex is a lie, we can infact do these things and there is nothing anyone can do to stop people from doing so. You can try, but people will always do drugs(which as long as they arent hurting anyone else, who cares) and have sex for some form of payment. A woman that goes to the bar and sleeps with men just because he bought her drinks is just as guilty as a woman who is on the street corner having sex for money. The woman in the bar just skips a step and does it smarter. There is always a way to do things within the law even when the law says you cant. want to do drugs..get a prescription from a doctor, want to have sex for money, get into the porn industry.
NO ONE CAN ACTUALLY MAKE ME DO SOMETHING WITH MY BODY OR STOP ME FROM DOING WHAT I WANT WITH MY OWN BODY.
If the law said that you could not go on sites like CD and post your opinion...would you abide by that law? What if the government said that you could no longer take vitamins or eat organic food? would you still abide by the law?
If you like doing something nothing will stop you from doing it. If you think something is your right, there is nothing that will stop you from doing it. People and the government can try but will fail and end up with a battle on their hands. A battle that they will not, and cannot win.
I dare anyone to try to take away my rights, see what happens. You will have a fight on your hands that you wish you never started. Back the wrong people into a corner and see what happens. You will not like the results.
You still have not answered my questions from my previous post. All you did is repaste part of a post that you think sounds good, you probably got rep points from someone and think that it is really good. Let me tell you if I just copy and pasted the same post over and over and over becasue someone I thought or someone said it was good...I would sound as stuck as you do now. You have nothing more to say but the same old arguments. Still no one has answerd my question on what give you the right to tell anyone what to do with their own body. All you have is that the law this, the law that, well obviously you do not support the laws that make up this country becasue you want to make abortion illegal, it is already a law that says it is not illegal to do so. Trying to change a law like this is like trying to change the direction of the wind, neer impossible but if you succeed a storm that will destroy you will develop.
