No. All they have to do is destroy the dollar.

Edit: It only takes about 20 nukes to destroy the world as we know it. (Nuclear winter)
Yes they have the money but it will take time to equal the power of the U.S. The U.S has developed Nuclear Weapons at a much greater rate than China for a LONG time - they simply can't match it overnight if they had all the money in the world- Get real!

20 nukes to destroy the world LOL in nuclear winter? Source? Do you know how much energy is released in an magnitude 9 earthquake - more than 20 nukes - the earth is a helluva lot more resilient than being destroyed by 20 nukes -- look at all the testing and detonations of nukes over time....c'mon using your logic we would have been detroyed over 40 years ago.

Nuclear winter, look it up. If there was a nuclear war, you don't need to worry about the blasts. You would be dead. But you would need to worry about climate change caused from a nuclear war. The Ash and other debris would block the sun dropping out temperature causing death not only by crops not being able to grow but by the storms, etc, a simple drop of temperature can cause.

But back on the crops not being able to grow, imagine 100s of millions if not billions of people not being able to eat. Not only would it cause sickness but it would also cause murder. More wars would appear to fight for some simple food. Small gangs would kill people for some soup etc. It would be chaos and the dark ages wouldn't have anything on it.

China, with as much money and manpower they have can easily modernize their military in months if they dropped enough money.

So he's not able to make a decision NOW!

He's so new he doesn't have a clue...

Maybe that's why they said he needed on the job training... next time be more careful who you vote for.

At least McCain would have the respect of the military commanders, and they would feel a kindred spirit to take this A-hole out.

Have you ever seen the numbers on how many of that Dick tators own people he allows to starve to death every year?

It makes waterboarding look like a trip to six flags.

Excuse you, you are the one who mentioned just 20 nukes!! In an all out nuclear confrontation with hundreds and thousands of nukes detonating - yes it would cause global environmental problems - NOT 20 as you said.
I'll agree to disagree with you about being able to modernize in months to equal the U.S - i see as dreaming - but again we can agree to disagree.

Really you have no clue to what you are speaking.

One nuke detonated 150-200 miles above our country would kill 60 million people. It's called an EMP and would put us back to the 1700's without enough horses and about 300 million more people to feed.

Create starvation, cripple our dependancy on computers, create social unrest... and so on ....

Hello my straight friend
Ok what exactly did Mr. Bush do about N.Korea and Iran. N. Korea detonated a low yield nuke during Mr. Bushes term. Iran has had been developing its nuclear ambitions for years during the W's term.

Now you talk about McCain. Do you really think McCain would be launching nuclear weapons at either country right now. Doesn't Senator McCain actually support Obama on military decision in pakistan and afghanistan. Send a letter to mr McCain and ask him what he'd do with Iran and N. Korea. When he replies please forward to me.

Regards,

Again with the nukes, it would only take 1/2 a dozen megaton nukes to knock this planet out of it's orbit.

How is this possible?????

Iran and Saudi Arabia have the most shallow oil wells in the world.

Have you ever seen what a nuke does to a billion barrels of oil????

Can you say Rocket Planet?

To expand, if we lose our orbit, then we lose our atmosphere, err-go beyond nuclear winter, we have a time of incredible freeze... shortly followed by turning the deserts into glass due to the Sun having 49 times the effect on our earth, try 4,000 degrees on the surface.

goodnight sweet humans.

Regards,
keep up with history. Bush was able to get the N. Koreans to abandon their nuclear program.

Not until NObama got in did they feel like they could do anything they wanted.

Maybe Obama should spend more time on the View and get in touch with His Messiah feelings.

WOW sounds like one helluva nuke - so this happens with any nuke to such devastating degree. EMP would happen in atmospheric detonations, but i'm doubting your assessment of the destructive impact. Ok I don't know what i'm talking about eh? Please provide me with a credible source link. If it is and i'm wrong i will post it!
