The 2006 Lebanon War ring a bell? You know the conflict where Hezbollah were using modern anti-tank infantry missiles from Russia and pretty much waxed a bunch of their main Merkava battle tanks?

No they didn't whoop Israel, but they showed the Israeli's that with modern armaments, the battlefield outside of Gaza or the West Bank is no cake walk.

I would tend to agree with this. Obama's speech in Cario made several shots across the Iranian bow. While open to talks with them in hopes of separating extremist from moderates, the language was clear as to the US position concerning Israel.
Yeah, there has been talk in Israeli newspapers that they will temporarily stop settlement expansion if the U.S. will deal with Iran. I am not certain what it is that they want us to do. Maybe they expect to go next door from Iraq and topple another regime for them. One of many problems... we are broke...Look for some justification to bomb Iran. The U.S. is finally a little wary of BS reasons now...Will WMD's work again?

So since when did Israel become a territory or a state of the United States.

And, doesn't Israel have enough nukes of it's own already to handle a counter attack should the occasion arise?

Or is it that Clinton is just as full of hot air as her husband was?

Oh don't worry hater of all things decent and reasonable, BO will respond to an attack on Israel in the same way he would to an attack on the US. He'll apologize and create a dialog with our enemies.
