What the hell! I mean, is it bad for me? YES, I KNOW. Do I smoke in front of people who don't smoke? NO. So, as an adult, I am no longer allowed to do with my body what I want to do with my body. Thanks, Mein Furher, for running my life better then I can run it

I mean, America has an epidemic of obesity that is killing people left and right...so, why doesn't Obama ban the flavor chocolate? Why stop with kreteks?

The whole thing is absurd and really has got me angry. And no, I AM STILL NOT QUITTING! IF ANYTHING, THIS LAW MAKES ME WANNA SMOKE MORE OUT OF SPITE!

I will either A) buy them from the internet where I am sure I can get them on there somewhere from Canada or something, because the law does not effect imports or B), buy pipe tobacco and add spices and roll my own damn cloves.

And you know, people are saying how great it is to have a "pro-choice" president who respects a woman's right to a choose...but what about MY RIGHT TO CHOOSE how the hell I want to poison my body!?

KEEP YOUR LAWS OF OF MY BODY AND OUT OF MY LUNGS!

I am 27, black, and from the blue state of New Jersey, and there is no way in hell I would ever vote for this Fascist piece of human filth ever again.
I think your a smart women!!!! I think you ought to tell your community how the Great Obama is hurting their freedoms. I know several black people who voted for Obama and now are layed off. They were working with contractors and thought they would be working and now see Obama is hurting their right to work. If you hurt the boss the boss hurts the workers. The black community will get it you got it, now go tell them!!! Your a smart lady!!

IMO, I think this is an attempt to make smokers buy even MORE cigarettes to make up for less nicotine and tar in the newer versions. And Obama promised he wouldn't raise taxes on anyone making less than 250 K per year? MOST people that smoke are on the lower end of the income scale and his taxing is putting increased pressure on their pocketbooks.

Kind of ironic that the first President in recent history that smokes would do something like this. He realizes how addictive cigarettes can be and he's taking advantage of that.

Obviously, you will not be a healthy individual living on fast food but it can be part of a diet. Try smoking and not eating and see how long you live.

Read the above article, this is what they are banning. Not clove ciggs.

sorry, tobacco is not part of the general welfare clause of the US Constitution and should be under the regulations of the central goverment at all.

If you are assuming that liberals are the only ones that want to ban cigarettes, your assumptions are wrong. This conservative would love to see the day (and smell the fresh air) when cigarettes are banned like pot is now.

Same here. I never understood how people can begin a habit such as smoking. I cannot be around a smoker without gagging.
