Where did you get your crystal ball? I ask because I am looking for one to predict the future like you do.

I don't think people of any color will be voting for Obama again. There are a few hold outs in here who haven't yet seen the light, but the man is in completely over his head and pointing the country towards socialism and destruction.
Six months and he has already made great strides towards socialism, and his cowardice in supporting the Iranians fighting in the streets show the man has no backbone and no character..
He is waiting to see who wins in Iran, before he decides which side he is on.!! Korea and the rest of the bad guys are laughing at him, and at the country for picking a loser...

Smoking tobacco is harmful! victorianpunk, you are probably young enough that the harmful effects of smoking have not caught up with you yet. There are plenty of older people who wish it had been harder to get cigarettes when they started smoking. We do not allow retailers to sell deliberately harmful items/substances. Remember the lawsuit against McDonald's about the hot coffee? It was actually a conservative that filed that suit, for personal injury. That is what happens when harmful substances (not saying I agree with that one, mind you) are sold. People sue.

How do you know how many black people voted for McCain? I thought you started this thread to complain about your smoking future. What happened???

And, uh, who *would* you vote for in 2012?

If 2012 were tomorrow.

I disagree.

Where, IN this country; can children buy tobacco, w/o being stopped on the ID check?

I know I don't have to show my ID anymore to go to the casino or buy liquor (both have to be 21yrs old), but until I LOOK 40yrs old or older, I STILL get carded for cigarettes.

I know kids are looking older and older every year, but NO kid I know looks over 40yrs old.

What the hell! I mean, is it bad for me? YES, I KNOW. Do I smoke in front of people who don't smoke? NO. So, as an adult, I am no longer allowed to do with my body what I want to do with my body. Thanks, Mein Furher, for running my life better then I can run it

I mean, America has an epidemic of obesity that is killing people left and right...so, why doesn't Obama ban the flavor chocolate? Why stop with kreteks?

The whole thing is absurd and really has got me angry. And no, I AM STILL NOT QUITTING! IF ANYTHING, THIS LAW MAKES ME WANNA SMOKE MORE OUT OF SPITE!

I will either A) buy them from the internet where I am sure I can get them on there somewhere from Canada or something, because the law does not effect imports or B), buy pipe tobacco and add spices and roll my own damn cloves.

And you know, people are saying how great it is to have a "pro-choice" president who respects a woman's right to a choose...but what about MY RIGHT TO CHOOSE how the hell I want to poison my body!?

KEEP YOUR LAWS OF OF MY BODY AND OUT OF MY LUNGS!

I am 27, black, and from the blue state of New Jersey, and there is no way in hell I would ever vote for this Fascist piece of human filth ever again.
If your decisions are always limited to how things affect ONLY you, then by all means.

And your decision is made before we know what kind of nut the repubs will trot out.

Responsible decision-making.
Truly inspirational.
