Do you think the kids should come back to this pool again?

Hell no, I'd tell them to shove it.

A mom of 4 of the kids has filed a lawsuit against the pool. From what i've read, the pool actually had a capacity limit that was exceeded when the day campers arrived. The manager may have used a poor choice of words in his/her response, but if capacity really was an issue, then it would seem that this woman has a fierce uphill battle in winning this case.

Let it be a lesson in life for those kids. Life is not fair. You will not be liked by everyone. You will not be lavished with praise by everyone. You will not win every battle. Some people are just outright mean. Take it in stride. Sue if you feel the need to, and take your business elsewhere if you feel wronged. But don't harbor resentment towards anyone. Learn from it and move on.

I think he (The Pools Pres) regrets saying what he did. I honestly do not believe this guy is a racist.

I do believe some of the patrons where.

Hey, what can u do? People hated Jesus and Ghandi too!!

I would say NO if i was one of those kids parent.

No, they shouldn't. The only reason the club is saying this is to put the lawsuit against them on hold. Why have the kids go back there? They were offered to go elsewhere, no need to feel uncomfortable going to a place that didn't want them to begin with.

Personally I wouldn't put my kid in that situation, but I don't know how it is in Philly maybe they have a serious lack of public pools. An urban summer camp without being able to go to the pool is pretty lame.

Racism is destroying the fabric of our country.

The old way has to change, if it doesn't. Why should any other race care?
