i was in the hospital with my wife this weekend, and she gave birth to our second kid, a boy that we named joel. being in the hospital sucks as usual, but being there with my new kid was cool, and having that much uninterrupted time with my wife was strangely relaxing amid the chaos of the doctors and nurses and stuff.

thanks, everyone. so far he just sleeps all day and eats sporadically in between. but he is already figuring out that he has a high pitched voice that people respond to...
