Is this true: SECRET SERVICE Pulls Guns On Tea Party Rallyists?

"The duty of the Secret Service Counter Assault Team (CAT) is to fight off an assault on the presidential motorcade, delaying the attack while the president's personal protection team whisks him off to safety."

Somebody else says,

"....One of the vehicles in the Secret Service motorcade has a Gatling gun that fires 50 bullets per second:....The members of the Counter Assault Team also have shoulder-fired missiles. These guys could take out most of a city block if they had to."

This is the first I've heard of such a thing, but since this country has devolved into a 3rd party dictatorship, I guess I shouldn't be surprised??

How many other countries that aren't 3rd world take a bead on unarmed citizens who don't pose an imminent threat?

Secret Service is wearing some really powerful tin foil hats, picking up paranoia on all frequencies.

This is normal. I've watched them train and move throughout D.C. They ride with the windows down so if there is a motorcade assault, they can return fire without shooting through a window and having the glass fly into their faces. They weren't trying to intimidate the teabaggers..

So someone get a message to the paranoid individual that wrote this letter.

I missed a job interview in NYC one of the times Bush was in town, and saw the motorcade with the Secret Service agents with guns drawn.
