With all the crap that's being thown against the wall to see what sticks, I don't blame them for wanting to know what the latest 'misinformation' is being broadcast across the internet in order to refute what usually turns out to be false (I think they are lies but I'm being polite) and counter with what they really are proposing.

As someone else mentioned, what the Bush administration was way worse... they actually captured all e-mails (remember the switch room in San Francisco) without any prior statement that they would do so and only fessed up when they were caught doing it.

Attempting to refute misconceptions and actually capturing communications without warrants are two different things entirely.

As I've said before... sheeesh...
