His pseudonym is 'Gryphen', his name is Jesse Griffen and his blog is Immoral Minority. He caused a stir last week when he incorrectly claimed Sarah Palin was getting a divorce. Well two intrepid bloggers have done some digging on Mr. Griffen. It makes for some interesting reading.
Do yourself a favor, grab a cup of coffee, open up a coupla brower windows and check out bloggers Dan Riehl (Riehl World View) and Robert McCain (The Other McCain) for their in depth work over the last week. They get major props for shining the lite of truth on one of the blogosphere's less than savory characters.
Note: Mr. Griffen was outed by another blogger afflicted with Palin Derangement Syndrom, Dan Zaki, apparently by accident or incompetence.
And I thought conservatives thought liberals were against freedom of speech....

As of today, as of this minute, and after over a month of searching I cannot tell you. I simply do not know for certain. I do know however where he did not come from. He did not issue forth from Sarah Palin. He may have been conceived inside her house (The jury is still out on that one), but he was not conceived in her uterus. On that one fact I have absolutely no doubt."

Bottom feeder----take him down Sarah and do the world a favor. He has done this to many people.
Clint Eastwoon, John Travolta and others have sued and they are left alone for the most part by the media. Get these slim to stop. He is a kindergarden teacher and his blog is utterly vile to be read by any and all. I don't think parents of the kids will be wanting him in the same room much less talking to their kids.

That is freedom of speech just like how conservatives like to say

I'm fine with that type of free speech. People should be allowed to say whatever they want to say as long as it doesn't endanger others (like yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater).

Sounds to me like you want "convenient freedom of speech".
it's only libel if it can be shown to cause her harm.
i think that's probably why no lawsuit is being pursued. because this rumor hasn't hurt her in the slightest, and really could not have as long as it wasn't true (which by all appearances it isn't).
