She should have gotten herself informed, then she wouldn't have been concerned about "death squads". I can't believe that so many would follow someone so easily fooled.

Unless, of course, she wasn't fooled and knows full well there are no "death squads". In that case, she's nothing but a common liar who will say anything to mislead and get attention. Or for the money....

The outcome of death is already a reality because of insurance agency and HMO denials of coverage and refusal to fund necessary tests that primary care physcians want to run......it is going to get worse and worse as the trillions of deficits that the Republican congress created by writing the Medicare Drug Coverage....WITHOUT...funding it.....cripple the health care delivery system.

Dont even worry about government bureaucrats...private insurers and HMO's are already standing between you and your doctor. Unless we get real and significant reform....America will become a third world country when it comes to medical coverage.

You may not like the outcome, but she was very effective.

Those who agree with her are glad to see the change.
Yes Palin has done a very good job of criticizing consultations between doctors and patients! Way to go Sarah!!!

Are we really stripping counseling from health care because of what doctors might say? Why not forbid doctors from talking to patients at all, just to be safe? Call it the Palin-Grassley Freedom from Information Act.

Doctors think they're so smart? Well, they ain't gonna tell me about medicine. Or any of their other patients, either, without they gets my say so.

Wouldn't that be the insurance companies?

They decide which surgeries people should have, whether or not people will receive chemotherapy, etc.

The left all has their panties in a wad because Palin knocked hussein obama and his eugenicist squad down to size. Any person can get end of life counseling now without the government coming into their home. We all have family, ministers, friends, hospice and doctors if we want to have that discussion.

No, we have our panties in a wad because she contributed to the removal of a worthwhile provision of the bill.

Do you not understand anything? The provision allowed doctors to be paid a consulting fee (an office visit) to have this conversation with a patient on Medicare if that patient chose to have the conversation. You are simply misinformed and duped if you believe that garbage about the government coming into the home. And, considering how much this has been discussed and how much you post about it, you should know the truth but apparently you choose to be so ignorant.

"This is all part of a vast right-wing conspiracy to deny health insurance to the poor. It’s all a lie! There are no death panels! But we just took a vote to eliminate them from the plan."

The truth is that it really was part of the plan. Since the senators didn’t read the bill they assumed no one would. They once again showed their arrogance and underestimated the American people who protested in such numbers and with such vigor that the Senate had no choice but to delete that part of the bill. Score one big one for the people! Thanks to Sarah.
