I'd like to know how these polls were conducted before I draw any conclusions.

It's a Gallup poll, surveyed as usual.

Results are based on telephone interviews with 160,236 national adults, aged 18 and older, conducted Jan. 2-June 30, 2009, as part of Gallup Daily tracking. For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is ±1 percentage point.

Interviews are conducted with respondents on land-line telephones (for respondents with a land-line telephone) and cellular phones (for respondents who are cell-phone only).

I think the poll is skewed because a portion of liberals mistakenly call themselves "centrist", I see it on this board all the time.

What people in this thread have said is that Conservatives are racist, Nazis etc. Same garbage that we have heard before. But what is more racist, continually separating people on their race or trying to include everyone? I find that the liberal mindset does the former by promoting diversity and Affirmative action. Conservatives prove themselves time and time again with their donations to charity and work via churches.
