1.3 of that is less than $30,000 a year so that is a LIE! You cannot hardly pay rent, food and bills with that. So either you are telling us a LIE or you are leaving out some facts- like maybe you live with your folks or your wife maybe has a job and thus you "really" make $60,000 a year.

It's $106 K. The ceiling for receiving SS is $106K.

So there are many, many old people "on" SS who are collecting $106K per year, year in and year out.

Since you measure loserdom by income, would you say these are losers?

Are you sure about that? I thought that was the salary base for taxation purposes

i make bout 20 grand a year and am all set. i live in a 120 year old house with a stupid 500 a month mortgage.i grow my own food and tobacoo. so it is possible to still be self sufficient.am i a liar too?

I take what everything people say about themselves on the internet with a grain of salt. It doesn't even matter if it's true or not because it doesn't impact anything one way or the other.

That salary base is for tax purposes.
