You recommended them, hence they are yours within the context of this thread. And they are very heavily and quite deceptively edited. If you would like to read the actual transcript of the hearings from which the most widely circulated video was produced, here it is...

Subcommittee Hearings: October 6, 2004

It's a little long, but cheap at twice the price if it means realizing how deeply and deliberately you have been snookered and misled...

You can insist I do my homework all you want. Barney Frank is guilty as all get out and anyone who has seen his testimony knows that he lied. This man has caused pain to so many people and has contributed to families now being homeless. The least he could do is to ask for funding for the many families he helped to put on the street.

He had nothing to do with it, but if you'd been following along, you'd know that Rep. Frank has been pushing legislation to use the profits earned off of TARP (about $8 billion to date) as a pool from which bridge financing can be provided to homeowners who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own and cannot now make their mortgage payments. What have the busy Republicans proposed, I wonder. More tax cuts for the rich, maybe???

Did his significant other profit from the housing market?

You are very misinformed. Barney Frank had everything to do with this current disaster. He lied and people are now homeless because of his self serving lies. He is the scum of the earth.

Is that a rhetorical question? How is it relevant?

You must think the majority of his constituents are also scum for repeatedly re-electing him.

His SO personally profited. Was personally profiting. For some to suggest that Frank knew nothing is ludicrious. And to suggest that Frank was not lying about FNMA's condition is also ludicrious
