stupid liberals didn't read originally what was going to be said in the classroom...it wasn't until opponents raised a ruckus in which they decided to change what he was going to say
Lol. Did anyone "read originally what was going to be said in the classroom"?

Oh okay so you were hand delivered a copy of the orginal speech?
Oh is that the logic behind the whole Hilter = Obama thing?
Hilter was popular therefore popularity is evil
Hilter had follwers therefore being a leader is evil
Thanks for clearing that up
we'd really all be way ahead of the game as their little hysteria-trends come and go if we could bear to watch their TV, read their blogs, follow their leaders on Tweeter.

And even though the rumor is that the speech was changed (not that anyone actually knows this for a fact since nobody has seen the original), people still pulled their kids from school, schools still chose not to show it, both of which being unprecedented on this scale - and many will argue, irrational.
Yet, the issue which outraged so many was no different than what had been part of previous speeches by past presidents who spoke to students (asking the kids to write the president and give him feedback). So again, why the big ruckus? And why such an extreme reaction this time around? If anything it just shows that conservatives reacted more irrationally than liberals had in the past in the same situation just to show that they will do anything they can to oppose a president that represents the party they don't align themselves with. So please, if you're going to be so generous with the term "stupid", please do use it everywhere it's applicable.

You really don't need me to post my list again do you?
Even if he smokes crack, worships Satan and steals money out of the March of Dimes jar on the counter at the gas station, he's nowhere near Hitler. Anyone who makes that comparison is not grounded enough intellectually to be taken seriously by any sane individual.
The people who compare Obama to Hitler do it for the dramatic affect. They're trying to get a rise out of the people who either support Obama or aren't completely against him. Most of them know the comparison holds no merit and is completely absurd. If anything, recent Republican presidents have just as much in common with Hitler as Obama, due to the number of times they've led us into major wars/conflicts - you can make tons of ridiculous comparisons in all sorts of ways. It doesn't mean it holds water. It just goes to show how desperate a person is to try and convince others that they shouldn't like Obama.
Think "shock jock". In this day and age it's about making over-the-top statements to get try and get a point across. Both sides do it. You just have to not get so riled up over it - though I know sometimes it's easier said than done, especially with the ignorant crap surrounding this whole speech situation.
Yeah I see your point but people that make these outrageous statements if they would just look in the mirror when they say it they might see how stupid they look. They're going to live the rest of their life with a bag over their head. LOL

Yeah Republicans didn't have a problem with Bush Sr's speech. Just as long as he cut taxes for the rich they were happy.
