I think he is an eloquent speaker but I did not hear anything new from him. He said he wanted to something about medical malpractice suits but he did not say what. He still did not say clear cut how it would be paid for. He said that he would remove fraud from medicare but why not do that now and see how much we actually save not guess. I also do not like the HIE, he did not say what will be done to prevent companies from not covering employees and just letting them go on the PO. He talks a good game but still did not state any facts.
Thank you for the link. I still don't see where he says how it will be paid for. I read some generalized or vague ideas about where some of the money will come from but nothing all that specific.
In other words If I am going to buy my own insurance. I would find out the costs. Look at my budget and then decide #1 what I can afford. #2 Do I need to cut spending else where. #3 have a solid plan in the event I fall short.
This is what I need from Obama and DC before I can even consider buying into this.
I missed the speech. Did he happen to mention how we will pay for it?
He said the government's efficient handling will result in savings, you know like Medicare and SS. He also said that by adding 46 million newly insured to the system savings will result. I think he also mentioned he has a bay bridge for sale in Arizona.
Ok let me remind everyone what the thread is about. Did the speech change your mind. Simply saying he reinforced your opinions doesn't answer the question. The narrative going into tonights speech was he need to change minds in order to pass something. I get the sense he didn't do that.
