Most of the people I knew when I was in actually voted Democrat. They were grateful to Clinton for raising their wages. Most of the men and women I know now who are in, or were recently, disapprove of the wars they are fighting.

Thats the awesome thing about American soliders. We may disagree with policy, but we know our duty as well.

Are there any statistics on whether or not the military supports one party over another?
Well, don't Democrats usually campaign to slash the military budget as soon as they are in power? Didn't Clinton propose to cut the military budget by $122 billion (I know billions seem like chump change these days) over 4 years. What they actually do is irrelevant once they are elected. I could see the military supporting Republicans at election time.

Isn't it akin to most federal government workers voting Democrat (which, by the way, I suspect is why Obama is for big government). Government workers vote their paycheck. Democrats propose bigger raises. Unions encourage workers to vote Democrat.

Clinton cut funding to programs that weren't needed, and lowered the size of the military. He used those cuts to actually give pay raises to those in the military.

Everyone I knew when I was in, loved Bill Clinton.

We all know how you feel about the military, give it a rest.
