The other thing is the tea party movement is not just Republicans. There are Democrates, Independents, liberals etc. It has nothing to do with the election, it's about how our hard earned tax dollars are being spent. If you don't care about that I'll PM you my bank account number and you can start making some deposits into my bank account. I know I am more fiscally responsible than many our congressmen and women. I am talking about both Republican and Democrates. If you don't think some special intrest group or lobbyist doesn't have their hands in our elected officials pockets, then I have this great bridge for sale in Brooklyn I would like to show you.

You're an ABC fan now?

"The tens of thousands of protesters marched to the U.S. Capitol chanting various slogans and waving posters that voiced a rather broad array of grievances against big government and the leaders, particularly President Obama, who the protesters blame for its size and scope."

Protest is a great democratic practice.

I think it's important that all people take the opportunity to express their opinions in whatever form they choose. It's our right as Americans. Perhaps if all of us did this more often, real change in this country can happen.

The crowd was within the red line after the march down Pennsylvania and once they'd gathered at the Capitol.
Sorry, incorrect.

But, if they were, based on the schematic I linked, it'd be about 300,000.

"Estimating the size of a crowd requires aerial photographs, dimensions of the gathering space, and an estimate of the crowd's density."

NBC just now, on our local news, said "10s of thousands". I would assume that is the company line.
NBC on the Nightly News said hundreds of thousands.

But you are correct with the company line of tens of thousands - that seems to be the pull quote.

Tell that to the Park Police, who used this schematic to determine obama's inaugural numbers.
