Palin 'grateful' for top spot - Andy Barr - POLITICO.com

Two days after the release date of Sarah Palin's book was announced, it's already become the top seller at both Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. A publishing industry source told POLITICO that they "cannot remember a non-fiction book taking off like this in the pre-order market."

Little-Acorn,
i'm sure you're really excited about Sarah Palin's book but there is already a thread on it...//www.city-data.com/forum/polit...y-release.html I'm sure you'll say "yeah but now it's #1"...you can provide updates on subjects that are already being discussed so the whole first page isn't just the same three topics over and over again.

Who says it is non-fiction, isn't a book with pop-ups, after all that would be the level of her readers.

Some people are chronic repeat thread starters. No sense of basic politeness, I guess.

Most of the people who buy her book are knee-jerk feminists or rightwing ditto heads. And how anyone can possible consider her to be presidential candidate material after she walked-out on her first term governor job in order to cash-in on fame is beyond me. My God people: she could not even handle the problems her state faces, so she used the whole "They're picking on me too much, waaah!" thing as an escuse to bail. Alaska has some serious financial issues getting ready to break--she knew this, so she whined like a little girl with a skinned knee and bailed.
End of Story.

Those weren't all "gotcha" interviews, as she complained so many times, that revealed the real SP. That was the real thing-just listen to her resignation speech. You can't deny the truth.
Just quoting some of the participants from her speech in Hong Kong, where she was paid a reported $300,000.

"Unprecedented", as one industry expert said.
