These facts were posted on another message within the past couple days, facts from the FBI: there were more whites killed by blacks LAST YEAR, than blacks killed by the KKK in their ENTIRE HISTORY (over 140 years!) So get real with your facts.

So, no one in the Black Panthers was ever prosecuted? And Van Jones had the power to over-ride laws prohibiting the killing (lynching) of white Americans? Geeeeee, who knew!
You argument that MOST OF THE RACISM IN THIS COUNTRY originates with black people is beyond pathetic.
Personally, I'm surprised that having a black president has seemed to dampen the disgust toward racism.

It's not that....but there's always someone who has one wanted to kill the POTUS...some of them have actually succeeded so I think this is more an issue of "some crazy person wants to kill the president" hopefully he'll be protected and can leave the office unharmed.

Well there's that...but what I was referring to was the kind of c'est la vie attitude some people take toward racism...and, worst case scenario, the President getting killed.
Saying, 'it's always been this way' or 'your group did it too' is an easy and often used way to cover up the significant differences between two things.
But you took it to it's logical conclusion...the bottom line...protecting the President.
