Excuse me, but shouldn't the person making the allegation back it up? It certainly wasn't me who made the claim - just sicky's desperation to find the sow's ear. He needs to prove his assertion. Besides, it's kind of hard to prove a negative, but I see that as an attempt to spin the reality - #1 in 24 hours. As an industry expert said at the time - unheard of.

Nice try at skirting the issue. YOU have alleged it shot to #1 based on orders from "regular folks", NOT large orders from conservative groups as others have claimed and YOU have disputed.

See, I've recognized Palin long ago as a smart woman. The kind of smart that would put aside things such as 'honor' for personal goals. Why do you think she quit as governor & didn't bother to finish her full term? She's obviously smart enough to realize that by quitting she can be free to accept speaking engagements (read: $$$) and to promote her book (read: $$$).
You are extremely foolish to think that only Oprah will gain something from Palin's appearance on her show. You see Oprah as Obamaphile, but to Palin, Oprah is $$$. It's a win-win situation for Palin and Oprah. Oprah gets her ratings while Palin gets to promote her book on a syndicated TV show every writer would kill for.
