Bush didn't go to the golf course for a few hours to relax, he went to Texas for a few weeks. How many vacation days were there in his first nine months again?
0bama also does fours times more fund-raisers for political campaigns then Bush did in his first year. 0bama has two wars and a faltering economy to deal with, and still he finds time to do just about everything except his job.
Fund-raisers, 0bama-23, Bush-6, and it's only October, he has two more months to go.
More golf, more fund-raisers, more date-nights, more lavish parties, more beer-nights, more late night talk shows, and he finds time to write an enemies list; makes you wonder when he has time to do the work of the people.
Obama is a better draw at fundrasiers than Bush ever was. More people want his help than wanted Bush's.

96 days of vacation prior to 9/11. The entire month of August of 2001 Bush spent on his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
Can you prove that Obama did no work while golfing?
Maybe discussed foreign relations while tee-ing off? Maybe worked on a speech between holes? Maybe was on the phone, or on the internet?
Obama on an urban golf course for a few hours would be much more accessible to government personnel, than George Bush out repairing fence in Crawford, Texas.

Exactly my point.
I'm not defending either President golfing or vacationing.
Just pointing out the hypocrisy of those who defend one, for doing the same as the other (whom they greatly criticized for doing the exact same thing!)
More sour grapes. It took him less than 9 months to lift this country out of a near-Depression that took the village idiot and the pathetic Republicans 8 years to build.
He plays golf, and he is also doing an excellent job as president...and don't you forget it either.
Good grief! And exactly what are his accomplishments that would make you claim that he is "doing an excellent job as president"?
Bush signed TARP, is that what you say lifted "this country out of a near-Depression"? Amazing what you can do when you quadruple the deficit, put the national debt on steroids and devalue the US dollar so much that it looks like the world will dump the dollar as international currency.
Christina Romer said we already got the biggest bang for our $787 billion porkulus bill, and real unemployment is at 16%.
North Korea, Iran and Russia are all running rings around 0bama. Unemployment is not being addressed at all by 0bama, all the porkulus money has been going to state governments.
0bama has both the house and senate, and a super majority, and all he has signed is the $787 billion porkulus and a bloated omnibus bill with over 5,000 earmarks.
0bama needs to get his act together, I'd rather he start doing some good, and not make all of us on the right proven correct about our dreadful predictions of him.

Again, when did those lefties criticize Bush for playing golf?
