The Obama administration has clung for so long to the Bush administration’s expansive claims of national security and executive power that it is in danger of turning President George W. Bush’s cover-up of abuses committed in the name of fighting terrorism into President Barack Obama’s cover-up.

I supported Dennis Kucinich thru the primaries and I knew that he would not allow the crimes of the Bush administration go unaddressed. I voted for Obama as it was nightmarish to imagine McCain and Miss Wasilla in the White House. I sincerely believe that Obama is doing a good job on some major issues, but it is very upsetting that his administration is not being more forceful on bringing justice to the criminals that lied us into a war, profitted from a war and tortured. I read an article that maybe Obama is in fear of the fate that was Kennedy's if he were to aggressively pursue this matter, but nevertheless somebody has to, as these things were atrocities!

They're all the same, 2 sides of the same coin, other than the rare exceptions like Ron Paul, Kucinich, etc.

Yes he's been terrible in this respect. The guy was about 5th on my list. He doesn't have a record of sticking his neck out on principle. He's not a fighter.
He's a triagulator.

Exactly. It is not entirely their fault. The federal hierarchy is ambiguous to say the least. We only think we know who is in charge.

You're just wrong on this. I can list you multiple votes where the majority of Dems voted against the various Patriot Act laws but were defeated by Blue Dog dems joining forces with 99% GOP block voting.

That's not two sides of the same coin. That's a majority of good Dems taking on the system.

I'd buy a gold coin with Ron Paul stamped on one side and Kucinich on the other.

I'd still hope for heads over tails, though.

Haha, I don't support Kucinich's ideas but I'd prefer a person like him in over the same old same old...

There were Ron Paul bullion rounds privately minted BTW...

Most dems voted for the Patriot Act just like most reps. There were some on both sides who did not but they were all in the minority.

And Obama supported the Patriot Act when it was renewed BTW, so he wasn't one of them.

I agree. I can think of a few guys that are truly Statesman, but they are Democrats. Not because I vote party line, but they just happen to be Democrats. The ones that are taking on the system are demonized or marginalized.
