This is why we should all carry guns...it should be the law that all Americans are armed at all times...who would attack us then?
My sympathy goes to the family and friends of the victims.
Sorry, but this is total BS. If everybody would carry a gun, you would have everybody running outside with his gun looking for the shooter. There would be a mass shoothing, because nobody knows who the real shoter is. Everybody has a gun and looks like a shooter. People would just shoot randomly at each other.

Especially in Florida, where it's legal to shoot when you feel threatened on your property !

I was thinking the same thing plus there's quite a few people that I know personally would I don't even want in the same room as a gun...the thought of them carrying one makes me want to lock myself in my bedroom
Orlando police spokeswoman Barbara Jones identified the gunman as Jason Rodriguez, 40, and said he might be in a 2002 silver Nissan SUV with license plate D119UX. She said he used to work at the building.
“I would consider him armed and dangerous,” Jones said. She said multiple people were hurt but she could not say how many. She said five people were taken to the hospital and another had chest pains but did not go to the hospital.
Gerry Gilgo, who works on the floor where the shooting occurred, told The Associated Press she was meeting a co-worker at the elevators for lunch.
“She yelled there are gun shots! There are gun shots! Get back in your office,” Gilgo said.
Agreed. But, the state run media and all the anti gun whackos will say the exact opposite.
I got this far in this thread and was surprised that I didn't see on of those people talking about taking in all guns. Surely one of them is on here by now.
BTW, I don't own even one gun and have never been a member of the NRA but I do uphold all of the Constitution, just not many of the ideas some people get from having others read it.

I'm glad people like you dont have guns, if you would be prone to shooting people at random, because they look like "shooters".
Sane persons that carry guns legally, with concealed weapon permits have enough common sense to keep the weapon CONCEALED. See the operative word in play here? That way they cannot be mistaken for a "shooter".
If everyone were armed, the guy that started shooting, wouldnt make it out of the room where he started his rampage. Dont go freaking out, but I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts there's someone very near YOU right now, with a concealed weapon. Better run for the hills!

You don't get it, do you? They will not be concealed. How do you "defend" yourfelf with a concealed gun

I hear this argument all the time, but do you really believe if we ALL had guns in our holsters, there would be LESS shootings?
I mean really?
