Yes Happy Tex.......obviosly you make sence.....so wheres the middle ground?
Isay the middle ground is "underground" warefare I think its already here
and we the public will be ready soon. Don't forget decision makers are wimps
and will wait until underground warfare is ultimately the only choice.
Obama sends in the troops, sees what the situation looks like in 6-10 months, and then declares victory and announces bringing the boys home before next year's election.
I think you might be right...that would be smart of him to get the voters on his side again
Mr. Obama says he intends to finish the job in Afghanistan. Finish the job? What job? The US military has been there for over 9 years and any true international or military expert would agree that the conflict cannot be won. Obama is acting like a fool trying to escalate this conflict. For all the servicemen and women who will get injured or die because of him, it will be as permanent as it gets. When someone is killed, that's it, they can't come back to life. Does Mr. Obama not understand this? Apparently not. he seems to believe that by sending more troops that the US can somehow win a lost war. No, the US cannot win and more troops means more targets for the Afghans to attack. These policies are in contradiction with what the founders of the US believed in. it is a shame the country doesn't follow them anymore. I supported Obama during the 2008 presidential election but he is behaving like a fool trying to escalate a war that cannot be won. How stupid can this guy be??
