Actually, most Americans support Obama's agenda. The polling data refutes your claims.

Also, the parallels are uncanny. Reagan inherited a liberal mess and Obama inherited a conservative mess. They both came in after long eras of ideological rule by the opposing party (Obama after 30 years of conservatism and Reagan after about 20 years of liberalism).

Different sides of the political aisle, same underlying circumstances. Just watch. You'll see.

Guess what?
A LOT of folks aren't too big on BO's affiliation with ACORN, SEIU, Van Jones and other Mao-worshippers and Communist radicals.
Only the extremists care about all that, and Obama was never getting their votes anyway so it's irrelevant to his reelection. Most people can see reality and put it in proper perspective - without abusing the emoticons.

Actually, no economist argues with the fact that the world wide recession began in the United States and was caused directly by U.S. policies and economics.

You should seriously educate yourself on these topics before engaging in these discussions.

Thank you for bringing in the ideas of economists. I was going to post something about the differences between supply-side and Keynesian solutions to economic meltdowns, but thought better of it, because all of what I know comes from a couple of macro classes and reading *The Economist* sometimes. But hey, the standards of expertise around here are pretty low.

I believe that qualifies you for Ph.D. on this forum.

Congratulations!
