It's incredible to me that some people think the U.S. needs to be more religious. I think we're already the most religious modern country on the planet. Any more religious and we'd be close to becoming a theocracy.
There's no other modern country in the world where the elected officials are expected to end every speech with "God Bless _______." If Gordon Brown ended a speech with "God Bless The United Kingdom", I think he'd be laughed off the stage.
