Also the place where I work is having a christmas party thrown and paid for by jewish doctors. They chose the wording, again no rioting, no lawsuits, we're gonna have a blast.

Agreed. I really wouldn't want to spend Christmas with a lot of them.

I've never gone to one of these. I see enough of my coworkers AT work, I certainly don't want to socialize with them OUTSIDE of work.

The US Constitution does not guarantee that non-believers would be protected from exposure to religion and the symbolism of religion. It only states that government cannot establish any type of church or religion. This is to protect our rights to practice our religion and beliefs. Since public property belongs to the PUBLIC and NOT to the government, religious symbols are allowed under our Constitution.

Pssst: Contrary to popular belief, the favorite phrase of many of you non-believers is not found ANYWHERE in our Constitution - "Separation of church and state"

Why? The people who work in the office are not neutral.

This is well known. It appears in the writings of Thomas Jefferson, who was definitely instrumental in the writing of the Constitution.

Another well-known fact is that many of the Founders were not Christians--so this nation was not founded on "Christian beliefs"--as has been posited by people before.
