The "kooky tree huggers" are the scientific research community that have studied the subject, some for decades, and evaluated the evidence. You can call them whatever you want to. Your friend the "scientist" better stick to fixing trucks, cutting hair or delivering the mail and quit trying to pretend he knows something about climate change, which he knows man cant be responsible for.

The real issue here is provability. The denial crowd KNOWS we are polluting but denies it is causing a rise in temps., and says "PROVE IT!" like an irate 3rd grader. All attempts to "prove" this connection do not give us all the smoking gun the pro-pollution crowd say they need to be convinced. But evidence is, and has been, very clear for years now.
I'd suggest if you want actual scientific research you should quit listening to Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh for info. on climate change

I've often enough said such things myself. What he's trying to do here is update and standardize large sets of historical files from different sources and different systems with different standards and different filetypes. The sorts of issues he encounters are the sorts that one would expect to encounter in such a project. If this is the big "smoking gun", there just isn't much of anything going on here...

Sean Hannity drives an eco friendly hybred.

there is a difference between wanting to polute (nobody does) and wanting proof that AGW is real based on acutaly real science before we go down a path of distroying the economies of the west.....

Al Gore, the man who represents climate change. Not dissappearing ice sheets, but Al Gore.

PLUS, its his RELIGION!

All wrapped up with two little bows for any wingnut to enjoy: Religion (false) and politics. The very ROOT of climate change!

Yup, thats it, if it werent for Al Gore trying to get rich and a bunch of kooky tree huggers who confuse climate change with trying to tax us all to death all those glaciers would not have receded an inch!

right. it changes nothing. because drving an eco-friendly hybred or driving a non-eco friendly SUV does not impact the climate because of the CO2 emmisions.

for once we agree.

The meaning, and more importantly, the interpretation of someones words is what the corporatists who hacked into these accounts knew they could make hay with. They dont need hardly any evidence to convince the dumbed down masses not to worry about the U.S. being the worlds worst polluter, but they knew they had to create doubt.

Stealing emails and then stringing them together to make your various points shouldnt have surprised any of these guys. They have to make THEM look guilty of something and somehow lessen the consensual impact of their scientific research. Now they've "got it" in their "own words"..........
