The 52% of the population that voted for Obama must be very disappointed, because they believed he was a new kind of politician, and meant what he said. It was an unprecedented event indeed, to have so many duped so completely.
On the contrary. We knew he had a tremendous amount on his plate. The fact that the economy is turning - many fewer unemployment claims - which means more people who lost jobs are now finding them, and the health care passage after a very difficult adversarial Republican congress, I think he's doing a great job! He also saved our economy with his agreement with the banks. Sure, it's not perfect, but then, neither are you. And, those that don't like it and are mad that he is progressing marvelously against all odds, don't have much to go on. He will continue doing this great job as he goes along. So yeah, we're very happy. He accomplished what no other president since Roosevelt accomplished. Kudos!
Oh yeah, he kept his promise to get a dog, how could we forget. Dude, its not the quantity of these insignificant promises he kept, it is the importance with the promises he breaks, especially when they triple the deficit, cause a partisan divide and create an atmosphere of doubt and erode the faith people have with the president of the United States.
that Site they keep toting around doesnt he admit that Obama broke his promise on no tax increase
Well for the people that believed him and voted for him let me ask you...did he have anything in his past experience to make you think he meant it ? Is that how he acted in his brief stint in Congress or did he go along with the crowd ?
What did Obama do in his life to make so many people think this promise of hope and change was real ?
They dont care about change.
They only care that the letter by the Presidents name is a D not R

The brainwashing has worked!!! Problems with your post....
1. You state that people without jobs are finding them yet unemployment is well over 10%
2. You state that he passed health care even with the evil Republican Congress fighting it when nothing has been passed yet, and even so, they could have voted anything through without a single R vote. Must mean that a lot more Americans than just republicans think this is a stupid, stupid bill based only on partisan politics and pork.
3. You think our economy is saved. That's just stupid talk. The economy is nowhere NEAR saved and will probably get worse. Our economy is based on the free market and the left is slowly trying to change it into a government run one. That won't save our economy. There won't BE an economy.
You can spin it however you want and choose to keep your blinders on, but this idiot is ruining our country, and all the idiots that support him are to blame. You may never admit it, but in 10 years, you'll look back and wonder what the hell happened to the America that gave everyone the opportunity to succeed.
To accomplish big goals, you need to make for small allowances.
Obama wants to accomplish huge reforms during his presidency.
And he needs the support of Congress to make it happen.
If getting Health Care Reform to pass means giving in to the demands of several greedy congressmen, then I'm all for it.
It's not Obama that can stop pork. It's Congress.
They have to WANT to stop it.
And right now ... Pork is a tool which helps Congressmen get re-elected.
Do you actually expect them to give that up?
And YOUR mentality is part of the problem. If the bill were good for America, it would stand on its own merits and we wouldn't have congressmen claiming some sort of ideological morality that eventually can be purchased.
They will give it up if the people demand it. But you have bought into the whoring of America.
People are finding jobs ? Then why in the heck do we have an additional 70+ weeks of extended unemployment benefits and Congress is looking at extending yet again next year because about 1 million are due to drop off the extended benefits in March ?
The extended unemployment numbers ARE NOT part of the reporting by the BLS you know.

you are right, they are not. A lot of times when people exhaust their benefits, they are actually considered back to work! Another thing I don't get is how the Dems say that because we didn't lose as many jobs this month as prior months things are improving. What kind of logic is that? It seems like that until ALL jobs are lost and no more can be shed they will get on TV and say "hey look, no more jobs were lost this month, we're out of the hole finally!" Freaking morons!
The fact that the economy is turning - many fewer unemployment claims - which means more people who lost jobs are now finding them
Ummm, no. It means simply that there are less people who lost their jobs that week and filed for unemployment compared to the week before. That does NOT equate into "the unemployed have now found work". Two different concepts. People are still losing their jobs at an alarming rate, and we shouldn't overlook that fact.
