If you are of the opinion that the answer is that Rush didn't fake his alleged heart attack, then please simply Vote "NO."

------------------------------

Honolulu, Hawaii (CNN) -- Tests that were performed on Rush Limbaugh after he was admitted to a Hawaii hospital for chest pains "found absolutely nothing wrong," the conservative talk show host said Friday.

Doctors gave Limbaugh an angiogram Thursday that revealed no evidence of arterial or coronary disease, he said.

The cause of his pain -- which he called "real" -- has not been determined.

----------------------------

Leaving politics or any of his controversial views aside, he's an ENTERTAINER. For entertainment purposes, what better way to rejuvinate a listening audience or to create a new one, than to have your name THROUGHOUT the news?

Afterall, one of the first declarations that I heard made from the Rush Limbaugh camp was when his next show would be on.

And for those that reply with, "I can't believe you'd question this..." etc, save it. You may be that naive, but most people aren't.

So, do you believe Rush Limbaugh faked it?
I think the probability is above 50% - but I also think he planned to admit it afterwards.

I think the stunt would be childish, but nevertheless, an effective way of asking the question, "who do you think can replace me"?

Now nearly 28 years later I had some of the classic symptoms of heart attack like wet skin, dizzy, heart burn-like feelings and very slight pains on the upper inside of both arms. I went directly to the ER and after testing me they said I didn't have a heart attack. 5 hours later they came in and told me that I did, in fact, have a heart attack. I was shipped off to a heart hospital that Sunday evening and Wednesday had my six bypass surgery. 3 arteries 85% blocked and three 95% blocked. I should have been dead but for some reason wasn't.

From my experience I will tell all of you that if you feel any of the classic symptoms of heart attack get your butt to the hospital as fast as possible. You may get some or many extra years by listening to those of us who have been there.

Limbaugh did not fake that at all. He did the smart thing. What are those people in those ERs there for?
Excellent post Roy. I had a similar experience. Your bypass beat mine by one. Great advice for the rest of the crowd.

I honestly don't believe that Rush believes much of the garbage he spews. He is an entertainer after all, and his success depends on ratings. Not very interesting to compliment folks. Does he ever have anything new to say? Definitely an example of "do as I say, not as I do."

Whatever....I suppose he his providing "talk therapy" to millions of Americans who feel marginalized.

How fortunate for him to have access to such great healthcare. Many Americans cannot head to the ER if they suspect the possibility of a heart attack.

Truth is, anybody can go to the ER with no insurance if they suspect a heart attack. They will go to the head of the line and be treated and stabilized. If they have no insurance, the difference is that after they are treated they will have to sell the house, repo the car and eat dirt for dinner to pay the bills.

Of COURSE I envy Rush....my whole life I've tried to be a bloated, drug addicted, criminal, fat sack of lies and hypocrisy....I've failed miserably and am now jealous of Rush for accomplishing SO WELL what I failed at.....

Absolutely correct! I should have clarified that point. My understanding is that most bankruptcies are due to medical crises, and not buying the "latest and greatest" of consumerism.

Thank you Bushy btw, for eliminating what little bankruptcy protection families had regarding medical expenses.

Oh well. At least Rush is not straining the system as he can more than pay. Perhaps he will make a heartfelt donation to a Hawaiian charitable organization.

Now that all the laundry is out to dry on this incident and we know there was nothing wrong whatsoever by Rush's own words, I suspect that the cause of his pains was the fact that he is a chronic, over inflated gas bag. Flatulence is your friend, Rush. Use it early and often.

I doubt it. I saw his press conference, where he said there is nothing wrong with the American health care system. From his POV, everything is just dandy.

He parrots the anti health care reform faction. "We got health care, it works fine the way it is, what's the problem?"

Maybe you should experience some of the first signs of a heart attack, and let me know how you feel!
