Wow. The profound lack of knowledge about this field of science is truly mindboggling.

How many times can people point out that eratic weather patterns do not refute global warming and that they often, in fact, reaffirm it.

Seriously people. Educate yourselves before posting.

1. It was called climate change back in the 1980s. No one changed the name.

2. Al Gore has nothing to do with the science. He just made a slide show that made conservatives aware, for the first time, of this decades-old issue, so they think he invented it and rant against him every time it comes up.

3. Increased snowfall in unusual places is, actually, a symptom of waters evaporating more moisture into the air.

Science, people. Science.

Yes, do enjoy that Florida version of winter. I lived there for many years and the few cold days you get during the winter months should be appreciated.

Basically, Florida weather sucks! Either it is so hot it is unbearable or it is too cold to enjoy the beaches. Then there are the hurricanes! Anyone who went to Florida for New Years, must be very disappointed.

Instead of all these multiple threads, couldn't there be a "sticky" at the top entitled :

""Newly out of the Cave Drooling Repugs Voice their Ignorance and Terror Of Science."""

How many times can something so simple be explained without them learning....GAWD! Even fleas can learn...but not repugs.....

Summers are hot, but November thru May is just perfect. We had 67 for new year, so I don't see the reason for disappointment.

It just has to be the space shuttles. Quit flying them and things will revert to global normal.

You didn't know? Where ever the OP lives is the true indicator of an overall global trend. This thread will duplicate itself again in another week or so, as it always does.

What do you expect from a group of people, half of which believe the earth is only 5000 yrs old?
