If you had done so, you would have seen that he meant "us" as in the United States, not the GOP.

Well maybe you still wouldn't have...

True, this is an example of the death rattle of the left. We have seen a number of these types of threads today. The desperation is palpable.

Actually, the OP is more of an intern, being groomed for the big time.

BTW, Gotta love Michigan. The Dems are riding that sinking ship all the way to Davey Jones' locker. They've even got Jeff Daniels (of Dumb and Dumber fame) touting Michigan's tax breaks for corporations on TV out here in the northwest. "Bring your company to Michigan. We've got thousands of crackheads in doo-rags just dying to do precision work for you."

And she's after Tom Kean? Bwahaha....

It doesn't matter, these posters have ready made responses no matter the subject or the facts. Much easier than thinking!

Actually, I was responding to this question of the OP's.

Are you here to critique the posters or to respond to the topic of the OP?

So what favor did he do for the GOP?

I tend to agree with my colleague here. I believe you have taken this out of context as it seems pretty clear that Kean wasn't saying it "probably did us [the GOP] a favor" but instead meant "us" as in Americans.

Although I expect the Keith Olberman show to use it in the same context.
