from what i can find the rumor comes from a 2004 interview with maya where the reporter, not maya, stated that the president was born in queen's hospital.

i can't find a link to that interview but if anyone has it i'd be curious to read it.

If America was living in a situation where they feared ethnicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation, how could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the president of America?

reverse the evidence and see if your opinion would stand. a handful of US newspaper articles and statements from a few US politicians that he was born in the US vs certified documents, official statements, birth announcements, thousands of news reports from around the globe and statements from dozens of politicians, both US and kenyan, that he is a kenyan citizen.

in this scenario would you say " yep, he's a US citizen."

i wouldn't. i'd say he was kenyan.

i found the article. " queen's medical center " comes from the author, bennett guira, and is not a direct quote from maya.

nice that you dont atually link to the real article, but a Obama hate site that only has a screen cap

Give the URL of the actual article in question

Because we know all Birthers are dishonest: here is the URL

The author made a corretion to the hospital because IT was the author's claim. NOT obama's, Not Maya's

The issue is dealt here in this debunking:

Who cares? He wasn't and nobody actually in a position to know has ever said he was.

It's never been "scrubbed." That same blog is still there. And it's still wrong.

I guess you didn't realize that the campaign website allowed anybody to blog on it?

You have to actually show evidence... not random statements from obscure people who have no possible way of knowing what is true.

You know, something that would contradict the absolute legal proof that is his COLB.
