If they lowered their prices a bit more it would free up money for the rest of us. Then we can decide whether we donate to Haiti with our hard earned dollars!!!

Trickle down charity, worked for Reagan.

Hey listen, you don't know jack shyt what they donated or didn't. Don't come here and exploit the deaths of 100,000 people to push your Jr. High agendas.

What is wrong with you?

Its better than no money at all! In fact its about 60% of what the entire country of China donated (1mil)! Walmart didnt HAVE to pay a dime.. but they did. They even arranged to send pre-arranged meals to victims as well through the red cross.

That is pretty awesome if you ask me.

I'm no fan of Wallymart but that was mighty nice of them.
They also responded quickly to Katrina and Andrew from what I recall.

Put down the fighting gloves for 5 minutes and be appreciative that even the evil Walmart acts quickly in a crisis.

I can't speak to Paris Hilton's charitable efforts, but Oprah puts her money where her mouth is.

Do your homework before you talk trash like this. I really don't care for Oprah. But the woman is a giving machine.

Just stop.

Just curious. Who takes the opportunity to promote a POV on the backs of 100,000 dead people? Is that what this threads about? Trying to score points against all those who have pointed out the ills of Wally World prior?

I honestly don't believe that... show some evidence that Oprah donated a decent chunk of change to this

This is what I love about America: people and institutions willing to open up their wallets in a time of crisis, even when they know there will be others standing at the ready to give them the finger and tell them their generosity isn't good enough.
