But they have to spend that money on campaigns. Palin is making pocket money, not campaign money.
I believe that most of the ethical complaints against Palin as governor had to do with her diverting state money or resources for personal interest or gain.

Seems she just can't grasp the concept of ethics; I doubt she took any courses on the subject in the 6 years and 5 colleges she required to get a degree. Suppose it's in cosmetology? (No insult meant to any C-D forum

But two of Palin's more prolific critics say that public records laws and the ethics complaint process were used by them as designed -- as a way for citizens to watchdog their government and keep abuses in check.
Quote:
McLeod said her public information requests were based on tips or other information she received. For instance, she said, she heard from fellow Republicans that members of Palin's administration continued to pressure party members to oust Ruedrich, using state e-mail, telephones and other resources. So she filed an information request for all the e-mails from two Palin administration officials "to see whether there were partisan political activities being conducted using state time and resources."
The ethics complaints and lawsuits against Palin is just another example of what happens when Republicans get in a public office. They abuse their office and eventfully members of their own party turn against them.
"Every one of these -- all 15 of the ethics complaints -- have been dismissed," Palin asserted. She didn't mention that she had to reimburse the state more than $8,000 for her children's air travel to settle one, and that at least some others dealt with substantial policy questions, like accusations that the governor's staff was engaging in partisan political activity.
Again, most all of these ethics complaints were initiated by Republicans or Conservatives. Therefore, I am not surprised that they were dismissed. However, these lawsuits/complaints were not "a liberal thing!"
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Alaska, and that I will faithfully discharge my duties as Governor to the best of my ability."
There's no footnote saying "unless a better deal comes up, in which case, hey, it's my life".
You do realize how frenzied and desperate you sound likening Palin to Manson, Hitler, McVeigh, Jim Jones when there is actually a man in the white house that worships some of the most murdious dictators in history, like Mao, who it's estimated he murdered 70 million people? hussein obama loved and admired that murderous evil demented ghoul so much he had his image hanging n his Christams tree.
"worships"???? "loved and admired"??? You are beyond hyperbole. You are in the tin-hat range.
