Palin's decision to quit the governorship is paying off for her personally! Frankly, it was self interest that prompted her to resign. Her decision to resign for personal gain is totally consistent with her behavior when she was governor. Most all of the ethic complaints and lawsuits ( the majority made by Republicans/Conservatives) had to do with Palin abusing her office either of $$$ or other resources for personal interests. However, the one that is the "mother of them all" is the pending allegation that Sarah used her public office to get a hardy deal on having the Palin home built.
