When you disassociate yourself from the terrorists I (and others) will shut up. The NYT story about Palestinians against Hamas is the best story I've read in years.

Ruthlessness and decadence is defined by the published actions of Muslims and Islam. A westerner would only get his feelings hurt with a barking dog but Muslims call it torture when it's done to them but have no thought of cutting somebody's head off when he's alive.
If there was any merit behind the allegations of a cover-up by the Bush administration, you can bet that Obama would use this for political fodder. No way do I believe Obama would aid in any Bush-era GITMO cover-up.

I won't say that it didn't happen because I don't know all the facts. But what I will say is if it did I am not surprised. When you deal with the lowest scum of the earth day after day, some folks will snap. These inmates throw feces at the guards... They are pretty much as low as it gets. The world is a better place for it if it did happen.
Thats not to say that I agree with or condone these actions, but these guards are only human. Think about the mentality of these prisoners.
Forced female circumcision, a woman gets raped and she is charged with a crime not her rapists. marrying an 11 yearold daughter to a 40 year old pervert. Strapping bombs on mentally disabled people and blowing them up in schools and hospitals.
