I will say, I don't agree w/loans being forgiven for doctors. If anything, they are the ones who can pay those loans off quicker.
If they are a family doc, they don't make as much as specialists.
You'll notice I said general practice docs and family practice docs should get their loans forgiven. Those are the kinds of doctors we need.

Many countries with lower health care spending have a lot more family/general practice physicians.

Psssh...I have a friend who is in grad school for Art History. During undergrad she's racked up around $70,000. Thank goodness she got plenty of money to pay for grad school but I don't see her being able to pay off that $70,000 very easily on the kind of salary she might be making.

This guy is just too good.

If we don't re-elect him in 2012 then we don't deserve this kind of leader.
Which would be sad.

He's speaking the truth now about bi-partisanship.

This is a great argument, one of many you have made in this thread. I appreciate the fact that you took the time to deconstruct the clouds of politics and really pin-point your disagreement.

Thank you. And dare I ask, as a brilliant man, do you have any books you recommend to aspiring thinkers?

Thank you. And God Bless You.

I miss read your post I thought you said that they would not praise him if he doubled our exports. I sincerely hope that they would not get in the way of that.
What I meant is that Republicans probably won't vote for a bill that will double our exports because they don't want Obama to get credit.

What gets me is that Republicans try to paint Obama as friendly to the banks when many in their own party won't even vote for financial reform. I was listening to NPR and one commentator said many Republicans are opposed to banks having the ability to gamble irresponsibly with deposits they get from their customers.

Didn't you hear? BO wants us to take a "common sense" approach. No documentation is needed.
