What I find interesting is how the left wing media assiduously ignores truly left wing political movements yet spends so much time covering the teabaggers. When is the first time you read or saw a live report on the Green, Socialist, Peace and Freedom?

So basically, a fewer percentage have an unfavorable view of the Tea Party movement than have an unfavorable view of Obama. And, 60% of those polled had enough knowledge of the Tea Party movement to form an opinion.

Sounds all good to me as far as the level of informed voters.

I don't know anyone who's expressed a fear of the Tea Partiers. I'd probabaly laugh at them if they did.
And, AG Holder refused to move forward on charges against this intimidating New Black Panther member with a significantly checkered criminal history.

Just another example of how this administration endorses thuggary and potential use of force to achieve the means to its end goal.

Agreed, 6 out of 10 nothing to ignore or poo pooh. After all, look at the impact (albeit all negative and damaging) that One out of 300 million is having!

Bears repeating - a higher percentage disapproves of Obama than disapproves of the Tea Party movement.

Because the tea party is just the extreme right of the GOP. Didn't it start as more of a grassroots thing, from the Ron Paul campaign?

I think the Tea Party is fiscally to the right of all established political parties. I do not think it is accurate to say that they are to the extreme right of Republicans on any social concerns. In fact, many in the Tea Party are socially traditional Democrats (not to be confused with progressive liberals).

The emphasis of the Tea Party is on fiscal responsibility and a return to the limits on Federal government as it pertains to Constitutional power.

Exactly! CNN, the station nobody watches and the majority of their listeners are liberals. The left is scared because this grassroots movement exploded on the scene where their liberal astroturf must be paid to get them away from their drugs long enough to be active.

Umm... Ted Turner hasn't owned CNN for over a decade. Based on your other comments, I suspect you haven't watched in about as long.
