What I find interesting is how the left wing media assiduously ignores truly left wing political movements yet spends so much time covering the teabaggers. When is the first time you read or saw a live report on the Green, Socialist, Peace and Freedom?
Nashville, Tennessee (CNN) -- One-third of Americans have a favorable view of the Tea Party movement, but a plurality has no opinion at all, according to a new national poll.
A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey indicates that 26 percent of the public has an unfavorable view of the Tea Party movement and that 4 in 10 have not heard of the movement or don't know enough to form an opinion. The poll's Friday-morning release comes as what's billed as the first national Tea Party convention begins its first full day of meetings in Nashville.
So basically, a fewer percentage have an unfavorable view of the Tea Party movement than have an unfavorable view of Obama. And, 60% of those polled had enough knowledge of the Tea Party movement to form an opinion.
Sounds all good to me as far as the level of informed voters.

Agreed, 6 out of 10 nothing to ignore or poo pooh. After all, look at the impact (albeit all negative and damaging) that One out of 300 million is having!

Because the tea party is just the extreme right of the GOP. Didn't it start as more of a grassroots thing, from the Ron Paul campaign?
I think the Tea Party is fiscally to the right of all established political parties. I do not think it is accurate to say that they are to the extreme right of Republicans on any social concerns. In fact, many in the Tea Party are socially traditional Democrats (not to be confused with progressive liberals).
The emphasis of the Tea Party is on fiscal responsibility and a return to the limits on Federal government as it pertains to Constitutional power.
Exactly! CNN, the station nobody watches and the majority of their listeners are liberals. The left is scared because this grassroots movement exploded on the scene where their liberal astroturf must be paid to get them away from their drugs long enough to be active.
according to who, CNN? Ted Turner and his hack media personnel over at the world's #1 White Guilt network aren't fooling anyone.
Umm... Ted Turner hasn't owned CNN for over a decade. Based on your other comments, I suspect you haven't watched in about as long.
