and medicare is a waste of money as well, otherwise it would not bankrupt.

you talk about the VA, what i am talking about is if the national health care plan is so great that congress has to got the same plan as the rest of us as well.

instead they get their premium plan at the cost of taxpayers.

They have private insurance purchased through a federal employee insurance exchange. Are you saying we should have access to the federal exchange?

I am saying that if a national health care plan passes, then each and every politician including the potus has to stand in line to wait for the next doctor, and not get a private insurance plan.

Medicare is not a waste of money. It's at a disadvantage because it's the dumping ground for private insurers. They don't want to insure sick elderly people. They would rather have the tax payer worry about it and then stick it to us with outrageous increases in premiums to boot.

What wait? They are not proposing a NHS like in the UK. This is a public option insurance policy. I think you're believing the town hall scare tactics. Fear (and sex) sells.

if the public option is so good, then do not have the goverment be in charge of it.

knowing congress, they will pass this and then take the money coming in for it and throw it into the general fund.
