I would prefer a diverse neighborhood with people of all types as long as it is safe and in a top school district. Would love to have a lot of highly educated people there as well.
Y'know what I found kind of funny... it seems that a preference to be with one's racial community is only looked down upon in Caucasian communities. If you spoke with natives of any other country that is not Caucasian, the majority of them will tell you they are proud of their RACE and their culture and prefer it over "multiculturalism". Ask an Indian (not Americanized Indian), ask someone from Africa, or ask someone fresh from Asia---they'll all try to tell you that their people are the choice they'd go with. *shrug* just something to think about.
THIS........this lady is spot-on, Logical and non-pc.....her posts must make Liberals brains boil.
Humans naturally prefer to be around other that are the most similar to themselves....what a shocker!
Multiculturalism is one of the thingees that is bringing down the USAtard.

There is a difference here. There was no jewish homeland until roughly 60 years ago, so what other option did the prideful folks have? Now, today is a different story. If someone is prideful of jewish heritage why not move to Irsael? I see some folks with Irsaeli flags on their cars, in front of their houses etc. I don't get it, why don't they move to Irsael? I would say the same thing to prideful jews that I would of prideful mexicans, chinese or whatever else.
Also, just to note again. I never said that being prideful of ones culture is bad. I said that it doesn't make much sense to be prideful of it yet move away from your homeland. If some Mexican loves Mexican culture thats cool, but why is he coming here? Maybe its a love/hate relationship.
Maybe because Gizmo has as much relation to Israel as I do. He was born in this country, so why should he move? There's plenty of Jewish culture in the USA. In fact, there are far more Jewish people in this country than in Israel.
I'd say it depends where you live. I live in a very diverse city, but the older houses in the inner cities are much more segregated. The newer neighborhoods in the outer rings of the city are much more diverse. It's pretty hard to find a neighborhood without diversity in the Houston area, at least in the newer parts of the city. Living in a southern, border state with a large international economy means that we have Caucasians, Chinese, Indians, Vietnamese, Filipino, Hispanics, African Americans, actual Africans (Nigerians, South Africans, Egyptians), Arabs, Persians, Jamaicans, French, Norwegians, etc.
I imagine it's different in other parts of the country. In many areas, there is simply black and white, and it's been that way for generations. In those areas, it seems that the races live on their side of town (or at least that was my experience in the Northeast outside of NYC).
