New HC reform does not allow provisions for abortion. Laws on abortion stay the same. So stop crying that issue.

We had eight years of the worst administration in decades RAMMED down our throats. Millions of us without work to this day due to the abuse of laws meant for the betterment of America.

Quid Pro Quo; Einstein and splitting the atom. At least he apologized.

All you elitists are just upset that your $200,000+ a year incomes will be helping the working class (which keeps this economy going) to have healthier lives. You can cry Medicaid and Medicare all you want. Never in my life had Medicaid. We ALL supported those programs. Now it is just you. By your own doing. I (along with millions) never was able to afford health insurance either. I was a worker that helped support your visits to see your health care provider. While we "blue collars" sat back and wondered what we would do if we ever were in need of SERIOUS HC. It must pain you to have to help the people who actually keep your businesses running. Since most of you feel we are so "beneath" you.

In any case. I hope this bill passes with the same fervor I had about Bush not being re-elected.

Me thinks the shroombeanie doth protest too much.

If abortion were not covered in THIS BILL we would be hearing deafening roars from pro-abortion proponents, like yourself, and from Planned Parenthood.

But do we hear roars from the "its my body and I'll abort if I want to, abort if I want to, abort if I want to....crowd" that abortion be included? No, nothing but crickets.

Sometimes what one doesn't hear is more important than what does. Absence of crickets demanding government provided abortion tells me that the provisions are there, buried in the funding for "community health clinics".

A question ...

If its so great, and so honest, and so defensible, why was most of it done behind closed doors, cloaked from view?

Oh, one more question.

Why the bribes and special earmarks to buy votes, if it was good enough to support without arm twisting?

Usually, when somebody or some company has a really awesome product, they are just itching to advertise all the great components. There's like trade shows to expose the product way in advance.

So why have the Democrat's leadership in D.C. treated the Heath Care agenda as if its taboo, or a crime in progress?

I am pro-choice. The women who do have abortions have to live with that for the rest of their days. That's punishment enough. I've known a few. It's not an easy decision. If people would promote protected sex as hard as they protest abortion there wouldn't be as many abortions.

What you "thinks" about my protests won't stop them. Just as what I think won't stop you.

Because the bill stinks and EVERYONE knows it.

Because it IS a crime in progress, and they KNOW it. They think if they keep hiding it from everyone, they can just sneak it in. They're in for a very rude awakening.

At the risk of sounding "elitist", why couldn't you afford health insurance? Too many vacations? A boat perhaps? Or maybe an ATV? Something tells me you weren't simply paying for food, mortgage, clothes, and gas all your whole life.

The point is not to pick a fight with you, per se, but it doesn't take much looking around in this nation to see that those who claim they couldn't afford healthcare weren't exactly living within their means, either.

Of course there was no outrage from the same group as Bush cuts taxes while waging two wars simultaneously. Racking up the balance on the China credit card, doubling the debt and sending the deficit to the moon.

Flash forward about 8 yrs and the same group you cheered the fiscal irresponsibility are now outraged that we propose health care for the fellow Americans (While they campaign on "Country First.")

Can anybody be more transparent and shallow then this group? Doubt it.

Your entire argument (as all your pals) are based on assumptions about people you know nothing about and never will.

How cute... you actually think the bill is about health care.

So you're saying you don't think that there are people in this nation that lived beyond their means while not paying for things they should have been paying for, such as healthcare? Is that your argument?

A housing bubble comes to mind. I don't know about you and your priorities, but before I go and buy a house that I can't afford, I make sure that all my bases are covered. It's pretty evident that that was NOT the top priority of thousands of families in this nation. And now they want free or subsidized healthcare. Shameful.
