PORTLAND, Ore. - The Boy Scouts of America has long kept an extensive archive of secret documents that chronicle the sexual abuse of young boys by Scout leaders over the years.
The "perversion files," a nickname the Boy Scouts are said to have used for the documents, have rarely been seen by the public, but that could all change in the coming weeks in an Oregon courtroom.
It is unfortunate that a few people exploit childern. It is monumentally stupid for the institution to keep records of the abuse. Didn't they ever hear of court ordered disclosure?
Male pedophiles that prefer male children. Some coincidence.
BTW - I could not join the Cub Scouts because I would not say I belived in God. I was raised as an athiest and believing in God was a requirement. Their loss, not mine.
You would probably get the same results in any organization that has children as the main members. Pedophiles go where you find children. Gay, straight won't matter.

Spoliation of evidence has become quite prevalent since Watergate.

Maybe honesty isn't a priority with the scouts.
Would pedophiles be more inclined to prey upon atheist boys?
