It sure does. A drama queen complaining without any actual proof of any racism.

Yes, because all of the statistics are just made up, right?

not gonna read 9 pages of this, I think I've seen the video before

if I was a woman I'd definitely clutch my purse if a guy dressed like Soulja Boy or a Hells Angel got on the elevator with me

if he dressed like Obama or George Clooney? probably not.

This is such bull****. The guy is stereotyping white people as stereotypers. Don't deal with the problems in your own communities, then ***** at the rest of the world for noticing them.

I don't see any woman clutching their purse near that ****ing leprechaun anyway.

Don't click it if you can handle the F word. It's pretty funny, though. Because it's true.
Long time ago, someone said to me, "You're standing at an ATM machine, and two black youths come up and stand behind you. How do you feel?"

Now, same scenario, 'cept it's 2 white dudes.

Now switch for two Asian guys.

And two Latinos.

Did you feel any different for any one of those scenarios? Yes? Congratz. You're a racist. You based your probabilty of getting mugged or accosted simply upon someone's race.
Racist is such a misused word.

The true definition means "a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

What you are describing is stereotyping.

Even Jessie Jackson was guilty of this as said at the 1993 PUSH convention.

"There is nothing more painful to me at this stage of my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about Robbery — then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved."

I don't think he is a racist.

Thank you. I have to point this out to people constantly. Racism is the belief that a certain race is genetically inferior. Stereotyping is drawing a quick conclusion based on any defining trait, one of which may happen to be race. Huge difference.

This is handwaving. Racial stereotyping (as described in the hypothetical) and racism are closely related.

No, they are not. A racist might be more stereotypical, but that is based purely on their racist beliefs.

Stereotyping does not make you a racist. And if it does, the guy in the video is a racist for stereotyping white people. Hypocrite.

Racial stereotypes associate certain traits with racial groups, and almost always do so in a way which implies superiority or inferiority. If you cannot recognize how that relates to racism, then I don't know what to tell you. Racism is predicated on stereotypes, but stereotypes obviously don't need to be racist.
