What if you still pay some taxes that just covers your "fair share" but not anymore is that immoral?
And what about your inheritance? Why is it immoral to hide that?
You get to determine what your "fair share" is?
You're stating that you're dishonest.

Interesting approach to take to life.
The highlighted line really flies in the face of Socialists doesn't it? They want the government determining everyone's "fair share". Obama's going to do that and take all of "our fair share" and turn it over to those who pay no share.
Modern "fair share-cropping" with none of the profits of one's earnings is tantamount to slavery.
If the government is spending your money on things forbidden by the Constitution, then is it patriotic to hide your money from the government?
If you give your money to them for that illegal spending, aren't you aiding and abetting their crime?
The patriotic thing, is to save them from committing that crime, n'est-ce pas?
Exactly. Some people would pay their taxes even if they were being used to build gas chambers. Being patriotic is getting off your a** and helping your community, not paying some bureaucrat's salary.

Everyone's a constitutional lawyer these days, it seems. The problem is that the Constitution was written well over 200 years ago before the US had even undergone the industrial revolution let alone the technological and information revolution, globalization and the rise of the modern global structure of governance. We've changed incredibly since then; the needs of the modern state were not and could not have been foreseen by the founding fathers (who themselves were incredibly factionalized and divided over the proper role of the federal government relative to state governments). Yet, at the same time, the Constitution has changed very little and the current structure of US politics basically makes any constitutional change impossible. It is not AT ALL clear how the Constitution applies to most modern issues, issues that were not issues or even imaginable when the Constitutions was signed. People are great at 'spinning' the Constitution to fit their own political views, but the fact is that the Constitution was never meant to deal with the issues we're dealing with today. Modern life, modern governance requires things that are dramatically different from what was required of governments in the 18th century.
If you're hiding a tens of thousands of dollars from the IRS you could end up in a world of trouble. If you're hiding tens of billions, you'll be able to ask the President when you're having dinner at the White House.
