What did you expect when we elect Democrats?

Honesty?

Integrity?

Principles they stick to???

(snicker)

Democracy in action. We're getting exactly the government we voted for.

This kind of empty rhetoric is why you lost 06 and 08. Before the election I advised people such as yourself to focus on actual facts and bring a coherent argument. You still have not learned a thing and that is why the GOP has lost again today. You spent too much time lying and screaming "Socialism" rather than make way for an honest debate with integrity.

Even if the health insurance did include coverage for abortion, it's not like anyone is FORCING you to have an abortion.

I'd rather focus on the GOOD: health insurance can help women afford prescriptions for birth control which help reduce the number of abortions.

Women will have access to pre-natal care which helps reduce abortion.

The promise of help should not be confused with actual help.

Why should insurance cover abortion if the mother's health is not at risk? Since being pregnant
is not an ailment i think it's a none essential luxury such as laser eye surgery or na nose job.

Women have access to pre-natal care prior to THIS BILL's passege. If not through private or employer insurance then through public health clinics and Planned Parenthood (a.k.a. the abortion factory). In addition there is plenty of funding via Medicaid and W.I.C. to help support those low-income mothers with infants.

In my state it was recently reported that 60% of all women who gave birth to infants were covered by Medicaid. IIRC these were stats for either 2008 or 2009.
