It may be interesting but it is dumb as hell. This guy definitely needs a competent lawyer or at least one that will stop pimping their client for their own political ends.

This would be the problem with free speech in military going too far. That right is modified, and it needs to remain modified through USCMJ. Just because civilians don't understand it's purpose doesn't make it unnecessary.

With the charges being leveled at him in the UCMJ, speaking would be the FARTHEST thing on my mind. He is in some SERIOUS hot water and only getting himself further into trouble could get him thrown under the jail.

Nope, it is a case of an idiot throwing away his 5th Amendment rights! This why I don't understand the rights objections to Miranda warnings, idiots get Mirandized and still keep flapping their jaws!

Well...I am willing to bet that we never hear the outcome if it ever gets that far. This is not the first case like this and nothing has been reported about the outcome of the others, at least to my knowledge.
