I don't mean to single any groups out, but this is more prevalent in black and hispanic communities. Women having children with very little means of caring for them. I DON'T understand this. Children are so precious and it's so selfish to reproduce offspring when you don't even have a High School diploma. Then what happens? We end up unwillingly helping them out through out taxes. I am sick of this!

Uh....my wife had three kids without a high school diploma and raised them all into fine, trustworthy, responsible adults. And only one of them was planned!
Maybe if they had education about means of BC and weren't under the jurisdiction of the church. I can't tell you how many people at the Catholic school I went have had unplanned kids out of wedlock.

I think OP meant without a high school diploma as in still a high school student.
I agree though. I'm all for pumping up the sex ed. People need to get their priorities in line early in life. They need to understand the exhausting work of caring for a baby, and if that doesn't scare them into crossing their legs or going all out with contraceptives, let them raise a puppy by themselves, with no help.
Trust me, I just had to take care of a GSD puppy for a week and I was so unbelievably tired and irritable from being woken up at 3 AM from a whining puppy.

Obviously she is married to a breadwinner. Am I correct? I'm referring to these single, uneducated mothers who have little means of financial support; then end up on welfare because their baby's daddy ran off.
They need to eliminate welfare and benefits for these people.Welfare was for War widows and people down on their luck through no fault of their own,not generations of idiots with no common sense. After the first child birth control or sterilization should be a requirement and most of all dead beat dads and men who father multiple children with multiple women should really be held accountable and forced to pay for their actions. In this day of age there is no excuse for this.If you can't reasonably support your kids, you shouldn't be rewarded for your stupidity.

It's poverty, not race or ethnicity. I live part of the year in a small, all white N. Georgia town. The poverty rate is high and so is the number of babies born to women with very little means of caring for them.

I agree that we should eliminate welfare and let private charities and social networks fill that need. But damn, Please don't invite the government to interfere with people's reproductive rights (more so than it already does), that won't end well.

I think that there should be a 5 year limit on all welfare benefits apart from veterans. One year to attain income and the last four years for pursuing some type of degree or trade. This is more than enough. I'm tired of suporting these mothers until their children are 18.
