By the way, what do folks think about Tea Party folks ripping Republicans a new hide? How do you folks care to spin this?

I don't see any problem with any politician being educated on their duty and government when they are ignorant of facts regardless of their affiliation. The tea party activists are not party affiliated, but rather are conceptually compatible in their political beliefs.

The only spin is that modern politicians are career minded rather than service minded. Our founding fathers viewed political service as a public sacrifice, not a lucrative career. They expected persons of character and strong belief to act on behalf of their fellow citizens toward the goal of directing the government toward specific actions necessary to common good. Modern political career people tend to view public service as PR in the interest of obtaining and keeping a nice paying career with great benefits.

I’m a Republican but I’m DISGUSTED with the Republican Party right now. The Republican Party thinks the government can GRANT people rights. They support the UN’s “Declaration of Human Rights” which, in reality, grants certain rights and limits other rights.

The Republican Party also needs to clean their house of those who believe in cap and trade, amnesty for illegals and any other policies that are incompatible with the Constitution.

Ronald Reagan believed in cap and trade, are you saying you wouldn't allow him in the Republican party?

Hell, he's the Republican poster boy (old man).

You go ahead and have one party, with one vote, and thats it. It'll be the quickest party on the way out, since the whigs.

I've heard this fabrication so many times it is laughable.

Cap and Trade was not invented when Ronald Reagan was president, therefore it is disingenious to suggest he was for it.
